Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I join?
A: Download and complete the membership form and send to the Hon Secretary.  Your application will be considered at the next committee meeting.

Q: I cannot find a Proposer or Seconder as I don't know any other member in the Society, what should I do?
A: We have members throughout the UK and abroad.  Several gundog clubs run training classes.  If you join your local club you will probably find someone there who is a member and who might be prepared to propose or second you.

Q: Can I enter field trials my first season?
A: Yes, but existing members will get priority in the draw.

Q: Do I have to be resident in Cambridgeshire? 
A: No.  We have members throughout the UK and from abroad. 

Q: My dog does not have any papers and has not been registered with the Kennel Club, can I enter him in your field trials? 
A: No.  All Dogs must be registered with the Kennel Club.
